The Toronto Film School’s Acting Summer Showcase Starts Thursday

Each semester the Toronto Film School pulls the curtain back on its Acting for Film Television & Theatre Diploma program and hosts a showcase of student work. The showcase is open to all students, faculty and the general public. All events are free and the schedule is as follows:

 

Thursday, September 10
9:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m.  — Acting 4B: Improvisation in Studio 3
10:15 a.m. to 11 a.m. — Acting 4A: Improvisation in Studio 3

 

Friday, September 11

8 p.m.: Term 5 Play “Camera Cabaret” Directed  by Caroline Smith at Dancemakers Studio, 9 Trinity St. in the The Distillery District *Tickets are free and can be booked here.

 

Saturday, September 12

2pm and 8pm Term 5 Play “Camera Cabaret” (Caroline Smith) at Dancemakers Studio, 9 Trinity St. (The Distillery District) *Tickets are free and can be booked here.

 

Wednesday,  September 16

10 to 11 a.m. — Movement 4A in Studio 2
11 a.m. to noon —Movement 4C in Studio 2
Noon to 1 p.m. — Movement 4B in Studio 2
1-3:30 p.m. — Video Game Launch  in Studio 2
4-5 p.m. — Acting 2 in Studio 2
6-8 p.m. — Term 6 Short Film Production Screening in Studio 2

 

Thursday, September 17

10to 11 a.m. — Writing For Actors Studio 4
2 to 3 p.m. — Movement 3: Clown & Physical Theatre in Studio 3
3 to 4 p.m. — Acting 4C: Improvisation in Studio 2
4 to 5 p.m. — Camera Acting 3 in Room 402

 

Friday, September 18

10 a.m. to noon — Acting 3 in Studio 4
