Kate Carder Instructor,

Kate is a visual artist working primarily with textiles and performance art. Her work explores the capacity that textile-related tools and processes hold for spiritual communication and healing.  

 

She earned a Bachelor of Fine Art in Studio Practice and Art History at Concordia University, a Bachelor of Education at the University of Toronto, and a Master of Fine Art in Studio Practice at Western University. 

 

Kate has been teaching at Yorkville University since 2021 and joined the Bachelor of Creative Arts faculty in 2023.
