Pheinixx Paul named Coordinator of Graphic Design and Interactive Media program

The Toronto Film School is pleased to announce Pheinixx Paul as the Coordinator for the Graphic Design and Interactive Media program.

“I am honoured, and thrilled to lead the Graphic Design program for Toronto Film School,” Paul said. “Our students are awesome and my first order of business will be getting them more involved in the school, and working with students in the other programs.”

With more than 20 years experience in graphic design, art direction, brand development and marketing, Paul specializes in composing the artistic and graphic look of a brand.

“Pheinixx brings enthusiasm and a wealth of experience from the design industry,” said Paula Shneer, the Director of Education at Toronto Film School and RCC Institute of Technology. “We are very pleased to have her as the coordinator of the Graphic Design and Interactive Media Program.”

Paul has worked with international brands like Julien Macdonald, Michael Kors and Roberto Cavalli, and here in Canada with GustoTV, Warner Bros. Music, Fashion’s Night Out, Mastercard Stylicity, TFI’s New Labels, and chef’s Christian Pritchard, Rob Rainford and the spice goddess Bal Arneson. She has designed layouts and graphic materials for such publications as Vogue, Elle, InStyle, GQ and W in Italy, Russia, China and Korea.

In addition being the new Program Coordinator for the Graphic Design and Interactive Media program, Paul runs her own design studio, has lectured for the North American Design Exchange, and remains a sought after guest speaker. Paul currently donates her time as the Creative Branding and Imagery Mentor to new designers at the Toronto Fashion Incubator, is a judge at several annual fashion competitions, as well as being an active member of international design organizations.

Paul was a finalists in Marketing Magazine’s Creative Face Off of 2009 and was voted as the Regional Director for Fashion Group International, an elite organization for fashion and beauty executives, for 2008 and 2009.

The Toronto Film School’s Graphic Design and Interactive Media Diploma is a 12-month program offered at the school’s Davisville Campus, 1835 Yonge Street in Toronto, Ontario.
