TFS Fashion Design Alumni Featured at Fashion on Yonge

On the heels of an incredibly successful showing in 2015, Toronto Film School graduates are back to take the stage at the 4th Annual Fashion on Yonge event on Sept. 7.

Toronto Film School graduates Daniel Thompson, Lama Hajj and Lana Kuidir will each show their impeccable collections, which were created while studying Fashion Design.

The event is presented by Downtown Yonge Business Improvement Area (DYBIA) and in addition to the work of Daniel, Lama and Lana, that evening’s catwalk will play host to more than 300 outfits in three runway shows from a sampling of 150 apparel and accessories retailers in the area.

Also back this year is the ‘Tweet it to Win It’ contest giving two lucky fashionistas in the audience a chance to win their favourite outfit of the night from our retailers just by taking a photo and posting it on Twitter using our hashtag #FashionOnYonge.

Downtown Yonge BIA is excited to bring Fashion on Yonge to Trinity Square this year, with runway shows happening inside the beautiful and historic church of Holy Trinity.

The event kicks off at 5:00 p.m. with food and beauty service sampling, live music performances and on-site model styling, outside in Trinity Square. At 6:00 p.m. the audience will be treated to the first of three runway shows, moving from casual wear to more formal choices for the season, with additional shows at 7:00 and 8:00 p.m.

The event, which is free and open to the public, takes place on Wednesday, September 7, 2016, at 19 Trinity Square. Space is limited inside the church so tickets are required for entry to the runway shows.

It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using 'Content here, content here', making it look like readable English.
