About Annie Murphy

Annie Murphy starred in the Emmy-nominated Schitt’s Creek for six seasons (2015-2020) alongside Eugene Levy, Daniel Levy, Catherine O’Hara, and Chris Elliott as Alexis Rose, the daughter of Eugene Levy and O’Hara. Murphy was first nominated in 2016 for a Canadian Screen Award for Best Actress in a Comedy for her work on the series. Buzzfeed ranked her performance as the most “criminally underrated of the 2010s”.

Murphy’s currently plays the lead in AMC’s Kevin Can F*** Himself, an hour-long dark comedy that deconstructs the role of the passive, agreeable sitcom wife. The series was created by Valerie Armstrong (Lodge 49), executive produced by Rashida Jones and her writing partner Will McCormack, and will be run by Craig DiGregorio (Shrill). Kevin Can F*** Himself begins shooting this fall.
