Grad Works With Game of Thrones Director in The Taken TV Series
Ali Kazmi, an alumnus of the Acting for Film, Television and the Theatre Diploma at Toronto Film School, has been getting a fair amount of attention in the media as of late for the myriad of work he is doing with some impressive names in the industry.
The actor is currently shooting for the television prequel of Taken trilogy by Liam Neeson, which is being directed by Alex Graves, who previously worked on House of Cards, West Wing and Game of Thrones.
Kazmi was recently featured in The Express Tribune and in Pakistan Today.
In the articles, he explained that after graduating from Toronto Film School he was determined to make a career in acting. He did his share of commercials and finally got his break on the Canadian television show The Border in 2009.
The last film he did was Deepa Mehta’s Beeba Boys, which has been released all over Canada.
He also worked on Punjabi romantic comedy Sardarji directed by Rohit Jugraj, which became the number one film in Punjab. He also starred in the lead role of a Canadian short film titled Coffee at Laundromat, which was selected for the Cannes Film Festival Short Film Corner.
Kazmi has also done voiceover acting in The Breadwinner, an animated film being co-produced by Angelina Jolie.
